Yard Sale Bug

Actually I'm currently sick at home with another kind of 'bug' (stops to blow nose) but deep down the real bug I've got is to get out there and find a good garage/yard sale, estate sale or flea market find! Anyone, else got the Yard Sale bug?

Newly Added Vintage...

Trying to simplify the look and style of my etsy shop (part of my march discipline) and have begun by updating the look of my photos. Stop by and take a peek at some of the newly listed items in my shop!

Discipline ...part one

'Discipline' ...it's the word of the year for me and like a child I find myself cringing when I even think what that word could mean. However, as an adult I realize the great need for discpline in ones life. So as my new years resolution (I know am a whole month late) I am focusing on adding a needed discipline each month and for the sake of accountability I will post my monthly goals here for all to see.

So what's the goal for this month you ask? Summed up in one word...lunch! Since starting my job at the end of last year I have yet to get my act together in packing a lunch for myself on a regular basis. Eating out once a week is one thing but almost every day is just not acceptable. Not only because my healthy choices are limited but because it's such a waste of money. So starting tomorrow I am packing a lunch 4 out of every 5 days that I work...I don't want to totally deprive myself of eating out.

So in my quest for easy and healthy options I was inspired by these photos I found on Flickr.

Ok, so my lunches may never look as adorable these but after browsing through many photos I realized that good and healthy lunches do not need to be complicated. An assortment of easy to pack and ready to go items with an occasional prepping or cooking is all it takes for a healthy and whole lunch.

It will be worth it...right? So tell me what easy and healthy lunches you would recommend.

Cath Kidston Love

Anyone love Cath Kidston stuff as much as I do? Just got her new catalog yesterday and have analyzed every page! I love how it incorporates both her great products as well as fun articles, tips, stories, etc. making it more like a magazine then just a simple catalog.

Magnetic Organizer Boards

I don't know about you but there's certain bits of ephemera and paper inspiration that I prefer to keep visible rather then just stick in a folder. With so many random pieces things can start to look messy so why not display your stuff proudly with some of these great magnetic board ideas? I'm particularly fond of the silhouettes!

2010 Resolution Sale

Hey faithful followers! I know I've been MIA the past couple months since starting my new job but I have kept you all in my thoughts and miss being a part of the blog world on a regular basis. Now that the holiday season is over and I'm now back to some more regular working hours (have any of you worked retail during the Christmas season? ...ya, umm, I'm still recovering) I'm hoping to be around here more often.
